    hi!

I recently got my new ASUS N53, I made a clean installation and installed the drivers but also the programs that where delivered with the ASUS DVD. For a while everything worked file, I played games, done my work without any problems.

Suddenly, two days ago, for the first time i got the situation as it is on this picture:

The computer does not respond at all. I rebooted it and entered the safe mode -everything worked fine. When I enter again to the normal windows mode the problem occurs again - randomly. Mostly when surfing.

Then I reinstalled the WIN again, and when I don't install any drivers the system works fine. So I decided to download the newest driver from ASUS page and installed them step by step. What I have discovered before it happened again, the two latest drivers that I have installed where:
    • ATKPackage_Win7_64_z100008
    • Chipset_Intel_INFUpdate_Win7_32_64_Z9201021

    Before these two, I installed:
    • Touchpad_Elantech_Win7_64_z70516
    • CardReader_Alcor_WIN7_32_WIN7_64_z181726026

So, maybe it is a coincidence that it has occurred after the installation of ATK Package and INFUpdate but maybe the problem is connected to this.

Please, if anyone had this problem already or has an idea what could be the problem, help! :(

Update for others, if anyone else has or (hopefully not) might face the same problem.

Well, so far, as is has turned out, the cause was the NVIDIA Driver Helper Service. First, I disabled it at all and restarted the computer. It worked fine. Then I enabled the service and instead the start up type "Automatic Delayed" I set it to "Automatic". So far, works stable.

    Hope this is it.
