Hi Folks,
first: sorry for my bad english, i´m german![]()
I have a ASUS C90S and so far i´m very lucky with it. The only thing is that the hdd seems to be very slowly and 160GB not very much.
I want to change the hdd, maybe up to 500GB. Is this possible? What shall i look after, especially the type of hdd (SATA 300 oder 200???)
Thanks and many Greetings from Germany,
Andi

Yup. Check if it's the right form factor (I think the C90s has a 2.5" HDD) There are many selections on the size, and obviously the more storage the pricier.

i know that i must use 2,5"-hdd´s, but is there any maximum sice?

I don't believe so, Even the modern 500GB 5400rpm or 320GB 7200rpm drives should work. I think 1TB drives are about to launch so you could wait for that. Or get an SSD. I had a 120GB SSD running in my old C90S for a year without issues.

Why wait for 1TB-SATA? I can buy some for only 60 in Germany (maybe 70$). -

lol yeah that ssd died shortly after migrating to the C90P hehe have replacement now... That is cool you can already get 2.5" 1TB drives I didn't know. Happy upgrading
