    ASUS C90s Help!

    Hi Guys,

    Just Picked up my C90s with no OS on it finished installing XP Home, I installed all the drivers on the CD which came with the notebook everything has installed except for display drivers and WiFi drivers.
    How can I fix this I have tried reinstalling the drivers but it does not seem to work, I am downloading driver for the 8600GT from the asus site as I write this they should be done in a few minutes anyone help?

    wifi drivers are wrong in the disk for sure, and get the display driver from the site

    I tryed the downloaded Wifi drivers from the ASUS website as we'll they didnt work either. Should i try updating Bios to latest version?

    drivers have nothing to do with bios o.o ... what error message do you get?
    you sure you downloaded the windows xp one? ... for videocard driver try the ones from laptopvideo2go.com and which wifi are u using?

    I don't get any error message just a message in device manager saying reinstall drivers I am using the Atheros Drivers for XP from the ASUS Site and I will download and try the laptopvideo2go drivers.

    the wifi drivers are on intels site, if you have the intel wifi card. the best display drivers are on laptopvideo2go. your bios should be fine but it wont hurt to update it if its not the new revision.

    Mmmm yeah o.o intel site, sorry, mixed up, i was like which wifi card are u using lol -_- .... anyways if that doesnt work, might be a problem with XP? ...

    device manager, or just look at the recipt of what you bought...

    or just open the thing up and look. I have taken my c90 to pieces several times it not but a 30 second job to take the bottom cover off.

    Ok just took my C90 apart, it is a Intel Wireless BGN Card.

    I believe I have the same problem you had...pls HELP!
    i have the Xp Professional and any driver got from nvidia for my 8600m GT does not work. i get a message saying that the driver does not match with the hardware i have.
    the other problem is with the wireless. i tried to install a lot of drivers i got from God knows where. all the same...my wireless hardware doesn`t have the correct driver...
    How did you fix your problems? can you send me the links with the drivers you are using? or CAN YOU SEND ME THE DRIVERS?

    As with your thread, use the LaptopVideo2Go drivers, and don't forget to replace the default .inf file with the modified .inf file.
