Newegg.com - ASUS Eee PC 1001PX-EU17-WT White Intel Atom N450(1.66GHz) 10.1" WSVGA 1GB Memory 160GB HDD Netbook
I'm purchasing this for a trip of mine to the grandparents for Christmas primarily to run very-low tier emulators (SNES, GBC, PS1 and maybe N64) so I wanted something small to take with me, even maybe sneak in a few stories *coughcough*![]()
Now my question is will this little thing run EVE Online? I don't really care how high the quality is since I'd maybe just use it around the house to fiddle with things. Can the graphics card supplied (Intel GMA 500) handle EVE Online at ANY level, the rest of the laptop looked up to minimum specs, not to mention the fact that I have spare RAM I could put into it.
Any feedback apprechiated, and yes I know it's probrably not worth the low price it's sold for but I also don't want to shell out $1000 bucks to fix my Sony VAIO laptop with a broken screen (using external screen was we speak)
Thank you in advance!

I'd stay far far away from the GMA 500 if you want to do any gaming. Actually I'd stay away from it period. Something with the 950 or better will be a good place to start... but even then you may have trouble running on anything but lowest res/settings depending on the game.
