I noticed that you can get a black W5F. I thought the W5F only came in white?

 

I remember Justin saying something to the effect that the black were shipping to Canada and you could still get your hands on one if you wanted.

 

Actually that's currently for the W5Ae...

Actually you're wrong c9tech, Canada does have the black W5f for sale. They've had them for almost 2 weeks now. I know of 3 dealers who have varified they're instock and definitely black.

The US might be getting them later in black, but Canada already has them.

 

CC - Asus shipped a small order (20-30 pieces) of black W5's to Canada to get them something to start sales of the Core Duo's... As I mentioned something like last week when Danny from CanadaSys made the same comment..... the US and Canada are effectively two seperate regions now for Asus........ Canada is going to get a lot more Ensemble's this year and the US is going to get a lot more Built-On's.

... With regard to that W5... Asus was going to focus on Black in Canada and Pearl in the US and as it turns out, they decided to focus on Pearl in Canada also.... but they have to sell the handful of black models that were already shipped up there... I don't think they'll last that long.

 

I wasn't refering to Canada, I was replying to jtom.
He saw the Black W5 option on our site, which is only for the W5Ae [now made more clear].
I was also talking about the black W5F coming in later to the US.
Didn't realize I had to specify which region I'm discussing... you can always look at the location I'm from
