    The F8SV which is almost the same except with a 8600m GT can be found for the same price. And since the Canadian $ and the American $ are equal shouldn't be too hard to find.

    Of course the F8 only has a 14.1" screen.

    Well if you need the screen res the the larger monitor is the obvious answer.

    EDIT: But you could also get the smaller lappy and spend the extra dough on an external display :)
