I'm trying C&C3 Tiberium Wars demo on my G1. Has anyone tried it?
Please give me the settings you guys are running at.

I tried maxing EVERYTHING out (settings, shaders, AA, everything) and 1680x1050 (full res) ... and the performance is a lil slow. Using fraps, I got about 20 fps average.

At everything maxed out but 1280x800, I get an average of 28 fps.

    What are you guys getting?

C&C Tiberium is a pretty resource intensive game, it is one of the new generation of strategy games that has a graphic performance of a FPS type of game.

so i would turns off things like AA and see what happens, for what ur asking u needs something like a 7900 series Graphics, remember u have 7700 series GPU which is a mainstream performance GPU. and i also notice that u have the G1 which is a 15.4" laptop, i wouldn't be surprised if they downclocked the 7700 a bit.

yeah, u're right. i heard most ppl play this game on the 7900. Using powerstrip, I overclocked my gfx card to a stable 530 core/450mem from the default 450/400 and got smoother performance.

    here's what I came up w/:
    on default 450/400:
1280x800 max settings = very smooth gameplay
    1680x1050 max settings = lag

    overclocked to 530/450:
    1280x800 max settings = perfect
1680x1050 max settings = smooth gameplay

i like playing on max resolution :D anyone have tiberium wars results?
