    Hi everyone,

    I was looking for Asus G1 in dubai and I found it in Al Ain centre for about $2300 :( . I really want to get one, but with this price is it worth it???

    Plzz I need your advice....Thanks to all....

    Yes, I noticed, the pricing of ASUS laptops in middleeast is extremely high compared to the rest of the world :(
    ASUS G1 costs ~$3000 in Iran...
    You can go for LG laptops (LG S1) much unlike ASUS laptops their prices are lower compared to the rest of the world.

    hmm that is quite expensive. but since i haven't gone shopping in Dubai........

    No one else in the country sells it?
    You should be able to knock it down in price, it must be heavily inflated.
    What does it cost to get it shipped from the US, it wouldn't be $500?

    ASUS has an official distributer in Iran, which means that they are shipped directly from Taiwan.It seems that the extremely inflated price in Iran is caused by "No brainer marketing" + "High Tariff".
