    ASUS G1 recovery formats to FAT

    I don't know how to change it so that when I do a recovery on my ASUS G1 my hard disk doesn't get formatted to FAT, instead of NTFS? How can I do this?

    I thought Windows had to run on NTFS... How do you end up with FAT?

    I just followed the instructions throughout the recovery and I ended up with a FAT

    You're saying your main system drive is formatted as FAT then?
