    Hey guys,

I found a way to clear the stuttering problems caused by a overheated GPU.

Drilling in the bottom cover does help CPU, but doesnt really seem to work for the GPU. I tried removing the cover totally.

Thus i came up with the below solution:

Remove the keyboard and put a coolermaster laptop cooler on top of it.

Below are the pics of how its done. I got a max temp of 73 playing GRiD with default settings.

I could manage to type abit on GRiD, with the keyboard shaking on the cooler, but if u looking for keyboard heavy games like fps, best use a USB keyboard.

I am thinking to buy a Everglide DKTboard, portable and durable. I really game on the go so i need portable solutions.

This is done in conjuction with the removal of tape, using rmclock to undervolt to 1.05VID.

Credit has to be given to another forum poster, who removed his keyboard and put an entire CPU cooler on top of the GPU heat "spot". this is a more "portable" solution than that i guess.

BEWARNED: DONT touch the plates, ITS SCALDING hot. Trust me. I tried.

    Pics aren't working :(

Would love to see what this looks like :p

Also would you mind posting a guide on removing the keyboard. I can't seem to find clear pictures in the other threads.

Oh sorry, first time posting pictures in >.<

Ok to remove the keyboard, Flip it over and unscrew the screws with "K", there is only 2.

On the top, there is 3 tabs, use a Flathead small screwdriver to push them (IN), towards the screen.

The tabs are at the Top right of Delete Key
    Center of the F8 Key
Top left of the Escape key

The critical factor here is apply a TINSY pull on the keyboard. Slide your finger below the Function key row , near the tab and give a slight tug once u have pushed the tab IN.

Thanks for the keyboard removal guide Razorwind. I wonder if there is some kind of modification I can make, that will fit under the keyboard, and help keep the GPU cooler. Off I go to investigate!
