Hi guys. I own an ASUS g1s-a1 with a cooling base.

A few months ago I decided to use an OC to keep recent games playable. I used rivatuner and atm my 8600M GT is 475core, 950 shadder and 700 memory clock.

I recently installed Far cry 2 and COD 5 but the performance seems quite bad... all of them are 1440X900 because in europe thats the screen standart for g1s and I dont want to lower that because as far as my eye can see thats the thing that most cuts the beutifullness of image..

on far cry with medium to low settings I have 15-30fps and on cod 5 I have low setting and have 10-20fps.. I have the latest drivers from laptop***** with modded inf.

Is this realy the max my laptop gives or maybe should I downgrade the drivers? any settings trick to run these games?? thanks for the help and HAppy new YEAR

I recommend you try the official 179 mobile drivers that Nividia released recently. They have worked really well for me and many others. They are classed as beta though.

In the games settings, do you have AA disabled and shaders set to low?

yes, but I wanted to increase performance.. in standart values for 3dmark, the best I got was 5300points but 5100 stable but dunno why I lost those clock values and forgot em... this in 3dmark06.

do u reccomend any specific clock for it?

drivers I am using the latest from DOX
