    ASUS G50V-A1 touchpad LED bug

    I think I find one "bug" regarding enabling/disabling touchpad in ASUS G50V(-A1)...

    What exactly happens?

    - If you have disabled touchpad via button (the one next to power button),
    then LED light around touchpad will turn off and touchpad will stop working (logically :))

    - BUT after you'd closed lid and opened it again, light will turn on but touchpad won't work! Blue LED light should be turned off, right?

    I would like to know if that happens to you guys...thx

    Roger that... precisely what you describe. But when I hit the touchpad button again after opening the lid, the touchpad works and the light stays on.

    yes, that's normal...I just want LED to be turned off :D

    I know that ASUS software department has a lot things to do with keyboard problems, but just wanted to let them know what will be next to look for ;)
