    Hello Strangers!

Well, I've bought a G50VT-X1 from BestBuy with a broken DirectConsole2, unresponsive Touch Sensitive Buttons, and Function Keys won't work, but this has to be the worst problem yet.

I have been feeling that my laptop is a bit too hot, I've downloaded SpeedFan to try to see the temperatures as Asus NB Probe it telling me that the temperature is Critical.

Turns out, my GPU is 90c while browsing the internet with Firefox, lowest is 78c on the desktop IDLE.

    CPU
    Core1: 82c
    Core2: 88c

The Fan is always "Fully On", I don't feel any air coming out of the vent to the side. But when I my hand on the vent, I've very hot, yet no air seems to be coming out.

I've Bought a Belkin cooling fan that attatches to a USB port, but it does nothing.

And I've even tried holding my laptop against the Air Conditioner :D, but sadly lowest a got was 74c for the GPU.

    Any help on this?

With all those problems, why not just return/exchange?

Sounds like a powermizer problem--the mother of all Powermizer problems, with 90C light tasking--but the CPU temperature seemed bizarre. Prognosis is a combination of bad paste and Powermizer issues.

If he isn't feeling any hot air coming out of the machine the fan could be dead. would cause both to get hot.

he said thats what speedfan was reporting. he said there was no hot air moving out of the vents. if speedfan is reporting that it could just mean there is power to the fan at full voltage (because the temperature censors are properly telling the fan to get in gear)
