I bought this computer in Dec/2008. Sweet machine I tell you. I was playing with the BIOS configuration yesterday and after I shut down the computer, it did not come back. I remember I changed the Intel TX (dont remember the name)...disabled the virtualization feature and other things that I cant remember anymore. The thing is that now, I can only boot into the Express Gate, if I try booting into Windows, I'll get a blank sceen, and the, it will light the LED lights and check the DVD ndrive,(I can even hear it) and no matter what key I push to go into the BIOS, it simply wont let me in. Exiting Express Gate into Windows, wont work either. My files are there because I can see them using Express Gate. Hirens Boot CD, Windows full version 64 bit, Linux and the original recovery discs wont work either. I've truied using BootIT (USB),it did not work either. There was a guy with the same or very similar problem, but the disassembly manual is not the same.
Anybody knows what to do? If the solution is to remove the battery fo a few secs, does anybody know where abouts in the Mobo it is located ?

You've got the lesson not to play with something you don't know.

Remove mobo battery to reset isn't a bad idea. =D

You actually don't have to take it apart. There's a little reset hole on the back. Take out the main battery and hold in the reset button for 30 seconds. While still holding it in replace the normal battery, then boot it back up.

That process should reset the CMOS.

Worked for me when my BIOS was acting up.
