This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     ASUS G50vt or G71 series

    Okay, looks like I am going for an ASUS Laptop.

    My choices were the
    - Sager NP5793
    - MSI GT725
    - ASUS G50VT
    Of course then I started checking out these brands and found I could do the no interest for a year on Newegg with the ASUS. People on the boards here seem to think that the ASUS runs too hot and is not as well built.

    But you all have them are you happy? What do you think? :D

    Also the other big question- should I go ahead and get the bigger screen size 17in instead of the 15 in. The prices are comparable and the specs as well. Is it true the 17 inch has problems with the screens? :(
