    Hello guys,

Im going to buy this notebook from asus, it's the version with i7 720QM, 8GB of RAM, 360GS and 500GB hard disk 7200rpm.

I see that the resolution of the LCD is full hd, so 1920x1080 as far as i know. I'd like to know how characters are shown in a 15.6" LCD, don't want to lose my sight! What about cut down the resolution? If I use, for example, 1366x768, is there a lot of lose of sharpness?

    Thanks in advance,

    Claudio

don't use a lower resolution, you can adjust the DPI settings in windows7 to make things clear enough

You'll also have to use text resizing in your browser... and sometimes images if they contain text.

It is really tiny, but it's high resolution. If you can comfortably read size 7-8pt printed, you should be okay.

It should come pre-adjusted to 125% and it'll feel 'just like normal'.

Except that some dialogue boxes and program installers won't be able to display all it's text and will appear quite screwed up.
