    ASUS G53SW screen backlight problem - dull top-left

    Hello,

    I have a problem with the backlight on my screen. At the top-left, it is quite dull so I assume the backight is faulty. Has anyone come across this before? Any idea what needs replacing?

    Sounds like you will have to replace the lcd panel. If your unit is under warranty call and get an RMA number to send it to be replaced. If your unit is out of warranty then you will have to look around on the internet for a part number for the lcd panel.
