There doesn't seem to be a specific temperature or game, but the framerate randomly drops to unplayable (but still capable of allowing me to save and exit) at random times and random games.
So far: Crysis, Fallout 3, Stepmania, and Mirror's Edge have been on the blunt end of this stick.
Its happened using all three of these drivers:
    ASUS's Support Site's Driver
    Latest available on Nvidia
    Dox 185.85

    >.>

Also, on wake-up from Hibernate or Sleep, wifi will cease to work if it was off when the computer went to sleep/hibernated.

Did you uninstall the drivers and use Driver Sweeper in safe mode each time before trying new drivers? If its the bios you could download bios 1201 from the Asus website because that has worked for most people.

Try the 1201 and see if that works since some people reported problems with the 13xx. Also don't download it from Asus Live Update either.

I had the same problem. Do not put your computer on sleep. After waking up from sleep when GPU reaches 82C frame rate drops to 2-3fps. This computer does not hibarate also. No sleep no hibarate, no problems. Don't forget default turn off button puts your laptop on sleep. You need to choose shut down everytime or if you prefer to put your laptop sleep do not forget to restart pefore playing games.

Defitely try to flash to BIOS 1201. I've been hearing a lot of issues with the later versions.

I second this, Install 1201 via USB and you should be good to go. It has been reported by many people that 13XX brings the thermal problems back. Asus Live Update only works for a few people, it has also been reported that despite it installing the Bios it sometimes doesn't fully apply the bios correctly. Best do it the safest way, flashing the bios yourself with a usb Flash drive/stick.
