Hi all. I am looking for an Half Mini PCI + Bluetooth 2.1 EDR card and just wanted to know if anyone knows where I can find such card. All looked pretty much all over the place. Asus store, ebay etc... But no luck finding a card with wifi+Bt 2.1 edr. Also, in the G71Gx, is it easy to install the card? All i have to do is open back plate and take old card out and install new one? Hope someone has done this and is able to asnwer this question. Thank you.

PS: BT 2.0 EDR Vs 2.1 EDR... Whats the difference????

    THANKS!

    I don't think a mini PCI-e wifi+BT card exists (yet).

The advantages 2.1 has over 2.0 are basically improved pairing, enhanced power optimization, and improved security.

Also G71Gx-A1 does not use half mini PCI, it uses full size mini PCI.
