This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Does anyone know what version HDMI is in the Asus notebooks? I'm looking at the G71G, M50 and the G50

    Is the HDMI version 1.3?

    Is the same version deployed on all current models of Asus?

    If the Asus notebook has a XGA screen with the HDMI out v1.3, then I can use a 30" Apple LCD at native resolution, which would be sweet.
