I was trying to flash the BIOS to the latest one. I placed the image on my hard disk and flashed it using the easyflash utility in BIOS. after shutting down, it never boot up again! after doing some research, i know that this is a bug from ASUS. However, I believe that there is an option of recovery for ASUS laptop.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Yeah, that is a well known bug. No option of recovery unless you tear apart the laptop and remove the bios battery for reset (will void the warranty though). You can RMA the laptop too.

are you sure about this? i've heard about this crashfree BIOS thing and some said newer laptop does have it. I'm sorry but I just don't have the time to wait for the replacement.

Thank you for the info :D
