    HI!

I tried to update the bios to the latest available from the official asus site with Winflash utility.
After i choosed the bios file, the laptop crashed (looping stucked sound) so after a while i turned it off.
Now if i turn it on asks for a password, but i never had password for bios.

Any idea how can i fix this?

    (sorry for my bad english)

Contact asus directly, they may be able to help? Have you tried leaving the password field blank?

I Called asus, the guy told me:
    Press Alt+R
When I pressed it, the "Enter password" changed to:
    "Enter Rescue Password
    (2015-11-02)"

I told him the date, and he gave me the password for this date. Now everything is ok :) (I never gonna try bios update again :D )

Only update the BIOS if you have a specific need to or the company advises it is necessary.
