    Hello all,

I've been looking for a good 15.4 inch gaming laptop and the ASUS L50VN-C1 seems to be a good match of price and features as one of ASUS' top 15-inch models (found it on xoticpc's site). I can't find any reviews or much information beyond the retailer's website. Do any of you have any experience with this laptop or tell me where I could find reliable reviews?

    Thanks!

PS - I've used the forum search feature and couldn't find anything, as well as with Google.

No, he's talking about the L50, which has a 9650GT gpu.

For GSYBE - this is a brand new model that has just been released in the past 6 weeks, and few people have it as yet (haven't seen much for posts on any of the L-series notebooks around here so far) - hopefully that will change. Asus didn't seem to send any of these out for review either, at least not yet, so that explains the lack of professional reviews.

The L-series is a brand new design, and we aren't going to know for a while whether it will ultimately follow the path of Asus recent successes (G50 series, M50 series) or relative failures (G1, F8). As for graphics performance, you should look for reviews in systems with the 9650GT card, as those will give you some idea on expected numbers.

The L series is basically a leather bounded M series with slight changes, so if you want to view performance benchmarks, you could look at some of the M50 reviews. Like Clearskies said, the L series is a new model released just recently. Give it a few more weeks and reviews should start popping up.
