Hello. I am currently typing this with an on-screen keyboard, but my laptop is not touchscreen. This is hard as hell.

Okay, so my problem is this:

When I press the spacebar, a hyphen appears.
When I press the letter E, in the browser (I use Google Chrome), what I was typing erases itself and the page refreshes.
And at some times, the ELEMENTS tab keeps opening when I type.
When I type the letter C or Q, both letters appear.
When I press P, what I'm typing erases itself, but doesn't refresh, unlike the E.

    Help!

    Welcome to our forum

I think your laptop keyboard may be dead. Did something spill on it?

There is a slim chance that the connector to motherboard has been unseated. I don't know how difficult it is to open your laptop (you haven't specified the type).

If you want to have the keyboard fixed/replaced, contact an authorized distributor.

Thank you for the welcome. :)

I do not recall spilling anything though. Oh, and my laptop is an ASUS X451M.

Does this only happen when in a web browser? If so, the browser may be infected and you should first uninstall your browser, then clean your computer, then do a fresh install of the browser.

It doesn't happen only on browser, though.
