You might want to check out the M51Sn thread which also mentions the M50.

Found that the M50Sv has a built-in TV Tuner with HDMI out and Video & Antenna Input whereas the M51Sn does not. See Flash below. Other than that the specifications are the same.

This laptop looks awsome. I just wanna find out how large the keys are since it have a full numpad squeezed in there. I am leaning more towards an Asus now with these new releases!

I wonder what these guys are thinking when they are designing these laptops covered completely by shiny surfaces. That it'll look good on top of the TV, maybe with some porcelain figurine on top? Maybe, but the laptop has to be USED. That means putting your hands and fingers on it, unfortunately direct brain interfaces are not yet available :) Which means... fingerprint galore.

1440x900! Crap! That's too high res for me! Why couldn't they just stick to 1200x800? :(

There has been on eBay for a while. Some of its individual specs are unknown.

Too high resolution can mostly be addressed by changing DPI, so it shouldn't be a deal breaker. Check my Tips and Tricks for a procedure to change DPI and other font sizes.

I'd rather not hassle with it, I'll just move on to something else.

I was considering that one, but the CPU is comparatively weak, and the touch pad has been placed wrong; bad design.

    Just to confirm:

Is there no HDMI? Cause the uk specs stated there is. And there is some photos on chinese website showing sealed ports beside the exhaust..

This will be a deal breaker for me..

Go on the first page of this topic, look at the flash animantion of the notebook, and click on the arrow to the LEFT, there you can see the HDMI

Will the F8 refresh have a 9600m GT? The M50Sv is nice but a bit weak compared to others.

f8sn will use the same GPU as the m50sv which is 9500m GS
