Price is great. Although the VGA card is not as powerful as 9600M GT or 9800M GT, but the 1GB Video RAM is a great deal.

    Good Luck!

Apart from the headphone issue and weird touchpad buttons, it's been a great laptop. It's only average for gaming, though.

Would you prefer getting DELL XPS M1530 over this laptop?

Smart-ass :p My little sister wants one of those. She's addicted to Guitar Hero like crazy.

    Okay, but anyway, I'll rephrase.

In terms of Asus laptops for heavy gaming, what would you recommend? I might get one next month and I'm in the stage where I'm shopping around, configuring different models and comparing prices/specs/etc.

lol, I got Wii too and it's fun... but for heavy gaming you are in the wrong thread, maybe even in the wrong website? Desktop? Otherwise look at G50 for lighter than heavy gaming :)

    Thank you!

Looking for a desktop replacement, really; I like everything all together and the potential to be mobile. I was looking at the G50, but the coloring scheme is an immediate turn-off.
