    ASUS M50Vm 9600M GS - HOT!!!

    Hi, i have this perfect notebook.
    t9400\4gbram\9600m gs 1gb gddr2\bluray\500gb
    But.. i have a problem (i think)

    screen with ATi TooL ( Artifacts scan is running)

    programs alarm temp is 95c. and i hear.. that sound.. :(

    Ingame GPU temp up to 95c.+ (TES IV - Oblivion Gold)
    Cpu = 27-55c (this is normal, i think)

    PS: 9600GS without overclock.

    that's a tad high.. Have you updated to your latest drivers?, are you runnig your laptop on a hard or soft surface? if on a hard surface, you may want to raise the back with bottle caps or something...

    heliopath, yes. video drivers is already updated.
    i try videodrivers for PC with modified INF file.
    but the temp.. is hot(

    GenTechPC, i try.
    but fan is clean.. ok i disassemble it again and try to clean)
    but cpu temp is normal)

    oh. i forgt.
    GPU idle temp 48-60c.

    That's quite normal comparing to mine (g50vt - 9800m) in game its arround 85C and idle 58~60

    Make sure your heatsink/radiator is free from dust as well.

    ingame UT3 - 90c.

    and.. i touch the back and i cant feel this temp... maybe program take a wrong temp?

    who can take a photo with a disassembled m50vm and mark parts is need to clean?
