This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I'm considering buying this particular notebook...mostly because it's everythng I've been looking for and then some. Hehe.

    2.4G Intel Core 2 Duo
    15.4" WideScreen XGA
    4GB DDR2
    250GB Hard Disk
    512 MB Video Memory with NVIDIA 9500M GS

    Along with other specs I won't bother to mention.

    Why I like it:
    Excellent value for the $1,200 pricetag. I doubt you can find another notebook of another brand that is this powerful for the same price (and definitely not for less).

    Friends haven't owned an ASUS...but they've all said that they are "top-notch" and "top of the line".

    Originally didn't intend to buy this sort of a laptop...didn't want one that was so multimedia-geared, or so expensive, but I feel like it will be worth the investment.

    So...yes or no? What do you all think of it?
