    Hi

I bought an Asus M6Ne and i found out that the screen flickers (just like changing brightenss manually up and down) when it comes out of standby or when i open the lid of my notebook, or when the lcd is shutted off after an amount of inactivity time, is this normal?

It's like the LCD is trying to regain the maximum brightness, but sometimes it flickers and then stops when maximum brightness is obtained, sometimes it doesn't flicker but brightness it still becoming progressively strong until it reaches maximum brightness.

    Does anyone experienced this?

It did happen to me once with an A2D, getting out of standby in DC mode.

I've noticed the same thing with my ASUS M6R, but I think it's normal. It seems that the LCD pixels have to heat up or something... so, I wouldnt bother!
