    Newegg has the M70Vm-X1 for a grand and a half shipped. I was wondering if anyone has actually used one or a similar model from the m70vm series. Who manufactures the screen and the touchpad? How is the build quality and size. Most of all what performance gains do the montevina platform and 9600 gs add? Any nagging points in the useability (badly placed ports, etc.)?

    I apologize if these issues have already been addressed previously, but searches turned up nothing and I don't have the time to browse through them all.
