    Hello

I have read on some forums in Italy - where the laptop is already sold - that people have experienced problems with the boot.

Simply the laptop doesn't boot at first attempt, and sometimes does not boot at all.
When pressing power on button, fan starts, but display black and nothing happens. Has anybody else in Europe observed this problem?

Has anybody observed this problem on ASUS N50?

I am in the US, and I have an N51. Mine does the exact same thing! It just started about a month after I got it. I have had it for about 2 months now. Sometimes it boots up; sometimes it does not. It just shows the power light and the blue [up/down] arrow light and volume lights. It sounds like it wants to work at first but just sits there with those lights on and nothing else. Is this fixable?
