I recently purchased two ASUS N53SV A2 laptops for my consulting company. I'm very pleased with them so far, but I've got a question. Everywhere I looked online, the screen resolution for the 15.6" screen was listed as 1366x768. I figured fine, that's the same as my older Dell, it's not 1080p, but that might be too hard to read on a 15.6" screen. Well, to my surprise, the machines that I got had 1920x1080 screens. The boxes and all the other specs seem to match what I had read about the N53SV A2. I see now that there is a new N53SF with a 1080p screen. I'm kind of confused, but not unhappy. Does ASUS just grab higher spec components out of their inventory to fill an order when they're out of lower spec parts? Not that I mind...

ASUS actually had a N53SV-B1 that had the FHD screen, so I'm wondering if that was a screen they used on some of the A models. Either way, that's a bonus for you! Enjoy the machine.
