    Hello All!

I have an ASUS N550JK laptop and I needed to download the drivers. I logged in to my account on asus.com and went to My Product, clicked on my laptop and it took me to the following website:

    Notebooks & Ultrabooks - N550JK - ASUS

That site has download links for all the drivers. I am a bit confused, however, because for some devices there are drivers made by different manufacturers.

For example, in the BlueTooth section the following drivers are listed:

    • [*]Intel BlueTooth driver
      [*]Qualcomm Atheros BlueTooth driver
      [*]Ralink BlueTooth driver

How do I know which one to download? I tried to find specifications for my laptop that listed the hardware devices and their manufacturer but I couldn't find that information anywhere. I don't think ASUS makes that information public.

    Thank you,

    Jan

If you're updating over existing drivers you can check your Device Manager to see what hardware is in the laptop, then take it from there. If you don't already have a driver loaded for one or more items, you may need to use a program along the lines of UnknownDevices to find out what you have installed first.
