Hey people, I need some help with my laptop's built-in webcam in Windows 8.1 (64 bit).

I only ever tried it a couple of months ago, just to see what the picture would look like and it was working fine, both with skype and the Windows Camera App.

Fast forward to now and neither programm is able to detect a webcam.

Device Manager has an active USB2.0 Webcam with Microsoft drivers installed and claims it is working. Deleting and reinstalling it from Device Manager did not work.

Now, the problem here might be that a while ago I uninstalled a couple of the programs that came with the computer. I do, however, not recall uninstalling anything related to the webcam.

Can anybody tell me which driver/software I need to get my webcam to work again? Any other suggestions/help?

My cam's hardware ID is USB\VID_04F2&PID_B3FD&REV_6954&MI_00
