I just bought one of these today. I can't get it to connect to my parent's WEP network. What do I do. Right now it only gets internet by ethernet cable.

Try updating the drivers with the ones here.

I changed the wireless mode selection in the device properties from "auto" to 802.11b/g and then it connected...

My parents have a N router that uses WEP (which I believe is not compatible with 802.11n). That might have been causing some confusion to the card.

Change the security of the router to WPA2. Wireless-N with WEP will not give you the full bandwidth of Wireless N.

too456 is right, you need WPA2 to potentially achieve full bandwidth. Besides WEP is like swiss cheese when it comes to security.

We are working on it. Our router is crap, and when we used WPA/WPA2 the router would disconnect wireless connections at least once per day.

We've got a new router but haven't got a chance to set it up.
