Hello, I'm currently using an WIndows 7 model of the ASUS N56VM laptop.
With Windows 10 arriving at the end of this year, I wanted to use the free upgrade that windows 7 users get when Windows 10 releases. I also wanted to take advantages of the Secureboot/Fastboot options, however it seems that those options are locked and hidden from the Bios setup.

Some researching revealed that these options are only available on the Windows 8 version of the ASUS N56VM.
I was wondering if it is possible to unlock these options in the bios?

A lot of manufacturers had two different bios structures which could not be cross flashed easily due to the differences in storing the bios windows key and the secure boot requirements. It's likely not hidden but your current bios is not capable of that functionality.
