    Hello,

I am planning to buy the multimedia series, N61JQ, but I am not sure which sub-model is the right one for me. Could anyone be kind enough to tell me the difference between X1, XV1, B1, B2, A1 and A2?

As far as I have noticed, all of them seem to have the same specifications but with different prices. (Source: Amazon)

    Thanks!

The A1 and A2 are the older series with intel i7 720qm processor.
I think the A1 comes with only DVD drive where as A2 has Blu-Ray.

The B1 and B2 are the new models which come with i7 740qm processor.
Here also B1 comes with DVD drive and B2 with Blu-Ray.

    Ah, thanks for the reply!

    What about the X1 and XV1 sub-models?

    Thanks again.
