    HI, just became a new owner of asus n73 sv...have a question..

    the notebook has 4+2 GB RAM and 3 dimms slots...I am going to buy another 4 GB and I am curious which slots need to have 4 gb to keep up dual channel...

    You are required to have 2 sticks of ram. If you are trying to only use 1 stick that is 4gb then you won't have dual channel. They need to be on slots that are the same color.
