After months waiting for vista (thanks moduslink, not!) i finally got it and installed.
Everything is fine except the application that i was more interested, asus nb probe.
First i get a script error every time i try to open the program.
While in the program i can't change between tabs, i get stuck on the summary tab.
And even there i don't get anything like this .
Hardware sensor just shows the green check and for the disk summary i get nothing.
Any ideas?
Using the latest version released from asus (the one from the driver cd is older and won't even start).
Thanks

What monitoring features do you want from NBProbe? There are probably other apps out there that offer them.
Also, did you try installing the WinXP NBProbe? If so, I'm not surprised if it's not working. Did you check support.asus.com for a Vista upgrade of NBProbe, for your type of notebook? If not, check. -
I did not try to install on XP, the version i had is for vista.
Don't think NBProbe is avaiable for xp for my laptop (i know there are for others).
I checked asus suport, that's where i found the latest version for vista.
Anyway i contacted them, no big deal
thanks -
You're welcome.
It seems to be some sort of bug that they have, probably related to the IE implementation that they use to display the statistics.
Do you have the latest IE version for Vista? Probably so. If not, maybe try to upgrade that?
Maybe something was messed up when you installed the older version, and it was left messed up in the registry. You could try doing it the hard way: uninstall NB Probe, remove everything from Program Files and Windows that is related to it, and try to cleanup from the registry as well.
But it's probably not worth the effort. It's up to you.
