    Which ASUS notebooks have UMTS/GSM/HSDPA slot already? Or within the upcoming models maybe?

    V2je....... 3.5g... It's just coming out in Taiwan, should be here in the next two months. So far, it's the only model with it built in, but we should see more this coming year as the new chipset in the spring supports it better.

    do you happend to know if the CPU will be a santa rosa based chip?

    well, your question can't be answered.. .because santa rosa isn't a cpu, it's a motherboard chipset. Santa Rosa won't be released until the last week of April, making it impossible to get a system based on it before say May 1st or later... So, if the V2 comes to the states before that, it would be under the current chipset... if it comes in May, it'll be the new chipset and by then new core 2 duo's will be out, but just really speed increases which aren't really needed anyway...
