    chance upon Asus S5 @ Sim Lim Square recently. Like the model for it light weight festure and 12.1" display. Can someone whom have use or know about this model share with me your view on it. For instance, it reliability, stability, battery life span and where is a good place to purchase?

    Also, comparing this machine with Toshiba Portege R150 (also 12.1" Display but lighter). Which is a better machine?

    Hope to hear from you. By the way, I am very new to notebook, hope the above qns are clear.

    Do a quick search in this forum.. I recently posted battery life of the S5/M5 with different setups and batteries and under different stress. I've been using an S5 since November of 2003, so I've had some time with it.

    Also, there is a great rebate this month... free 3x battery and $150 through mail in rebate.

    ... We have them if that helps.
