Hi, I have an Asus UX32A notebook with Windows 7 64 bit. When I bought this machine the OS was already intalled, and everything worked properly but Smart Gesture which resulted being not yet installed. Trying to install it results in a message telling Smart Gesture does not support my touchpad functions and causing installation to abort. Following ASUS support advices, I re-installed both Synaptics driver and ATK package but the problem still persists. The last ASUS advice was to re-install the whole OS, that seems to me not to be so practical because of all the data and applications I had installed in this machine.
Any other advice?
thank you

Hey marrafranco,
Did you uninstall the touchpad drivers before reinstalling/updating them? Sometimes driver conflicts arise otherwise. You may want to try uninstalling that and the ATK package altogether, reinstall, then try SmartGestures.
Or, see if the SmartGestures software installs without both of those. If so, then install the ATK package and driver again after.
Good luck!
