    ASUS U31JG-XA1 - weird stripes on screen after waking up

    Please see attached screenshot.
    Does anybody have an idea of what these strips are and how to eliminate them?
    They appear on screen after the laptop wakes up.
    Pressing "lock screen" (windows key + L) and logging back removes these stripes (because of full screen refresh/redraw taking place).
    But how to prevent these strips from even appearing after waking up?

    Looks like a corruption of graphic driver. You can try to reinstall the driver to see if this problem goes away.

    Do the stripes ever go away or do you have to restart to clear it?

    This laptop has Optimus technology. Should I try to re-install Intel or Nvidia drivers?

    When I move some window around, the area under the window gets redrawn normally, so this way I can refresh the screen manually.
