I'm soon going to have ASUS U36SD-DH51. My question is would Intel 6230 advanced n wireless nic work on it? Also, is the Asus stock wi-fi card have bluetooth built in or is it separate? Just wondering because 6230 has built in bluetooth as well.

Second question is would this ram module compatible with my laptop?

    Thanks!

BT on Asus notebooks is usually separated, i would go for an Intel 6200 if it is indeed separated.

Any DDR3 laptop memory module will be compatible, just get one with the same clock and timings as the ones that already are in your laptop if you are not going to replace all memory modules. If you are going to replace all the memory modules, then all you have to do is get DDR3 laptop RAM and it will be plug and play.

Thanks for the DDR3 info. But I still need concrete info about ASUS's stock wifi though :D

Well that is something only a person with physical availability to the laptop can tell you. Sometimes different configurations of the same model sport different wireless adapters, once you know what is the adapter that comes stock with the laptop, you'll know if BT is integrated on the adapter or not and then decide which Intel adapter to go with. The 6230 will fit that much is certain.

If the bluetooth is indeed separated would there be a problem installing 6230?

Absolutely not, it's just that some users have reported problems when using the 6230 due to the integrated bluetooth vs the 6200, disabling BT seems to fix the issue though. That doesn't mean that the 6230 is actually defective or will give you problem, it's just that the 6200 has less chance of causing trouble.

Okay, so if i had any problems with the bluetooth just disable the integrated bluetooth and just use the bluetooth on the 6230 right?
