Bought the laptop at Best Buy three days ago, it's otherwise quiet except for the occasional, distinct clicking noise that sounds almost like something is loose in there. Is this normal and am I just being anal or should I take it back?

Check to see if it's Seagate hard drive, some of them making clicking noise and can be solve by firmware update.

HD is most likely bad or a fan is not securely fastened. I would return it. had the same problem with my dell studio 14z, turned out to be the hd.
