Alright I had a U50F going a little wacko with the mouse after some windows 7 updates. It was with an external logitech mouse and others as well. I tried updating SetPoint to no avail. It was having issues with selections and seemed to double click when clicking desktop program icons and taskbar windows.

Update the touchpad drivers from asus support, this after reboot seems to have solved all problems the user was having.
