I put the upgrade of windows 7 ultimate 32bit on. Was able to keep all the orignal drivers that came preloaded since it was an upgrade. Works awesome.

I want to put a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. Are any chances it will be faster? and will i likely have driver issues?

    1. Very unlikely, esp not that you'll notice.
    2. Probably not, but you may have to update from your Asus driver CD. As I recall, that has both 32 and 64b drivers on it, but others might correct me.

damn i thought it would see a minor speed inscrease, with being able to use the CPU to its potential and the extra gig of ram

Well if you don't need 64bit, then I wouldn't break my head trying to get it. If I had the option to chose from the start I'd get 64bit since it's the new architecture and slowly but surely, most applications will move to 64bit, but 32bit works fine for just about every task nonetheless.
