Hi im new to this forum, so please be gentle.
I recently bit the bullet and installed Windows 8 on my UX32A, I was happy with Windows 7.
Everything installed correctly except the keyboard will not respond to altering its brightness also the little sysmbols that would display on the screen when I changed the brightness or pulled the power socket out do not show.
I have installed all the drivers I could find on the windows 8 side of the ASUS support but perhaps I am missing something.

BTW the UX32A runs better on 8.1 than it did on 7 at least it feels that way.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Richard

Try to update the BIOS to 214 if you haven't done so.

Hi but I have fixed the issue. It was to do with the fact that I had installed the hot-key program before another program.

    Thanks for the Help

Was it the chipset driver or perhaps the ATK driver that was installed out of order?

Yes you are correct, I accidentally installed the ATK before the chipset.
