    ASUS V2S, F3SV or A8SC?

    Im trying to decide which of these three asus model to buy. I need a laptop which I would use both for business and personal use as well.

    What I like with the first two are the fingerprint scanner and 1.3 camera but i do like the fact that the A8SC has an IR port which usually comes in handy for me.

    Lets just put it this way, kindly rank these three models to your personal opinion.

    Your answers would really influence on what model i would buy..

    By the way, since all these three are santa rosa notebooks, does all these three models have turbo boost or only the F3SV has it?

    Thanks!

    My personal opinion:
    V2S > A8SC >= F3SV

    Take into account that there is a significant step up in build quality from the A and F to the V series.

    Turbo boost advantages are doubtful at best, so you needn't worry about that.

    Maybe also have a look at the U3S?

    oh! thank you for the reply.. i thought nobody would suggest. Actually my first choice is also the V2S but how i just wish it has an IR port like the A8SC and a lightscribe like the F3SV..

    so you mean the best in build quality is the "V" series and the least is the "A" series? sorry, newbie question..

    anymore opinions there..?

    Thanks again..

    The V is the best among those you listed, A and F are about the same with maybe the As being a tad better.

    I also wanted to suggest the U3S.

    (I wrote this post once earlier but my net connection died :) )

    V2s superior in build quality and is a business line notebook, while the A8SC and F3 are mostly for entertainment and personal use, having worse build quality than the V series, suggest u look at the U3S.
