    Sorry never mind. It turned out to be a problematic Linksys basestation. Once I replaced with my US Robotics 5461 basestation, all my problems went away.

    This is one killer lappy, btw. Unboxing pictures to come! :cool:

    Well whatever you do dont ship it to acer. You wont like what they send you in return.

    As far as troubleshooting your wireless card id turn off the wireless that comes with it and try to use windows wireless.

    Try the repair command. Odds are what youre having trouble with is vista. is your w5f on xp?

    Vista has a lot of things you have to turn off out of the box it has some annoying security things. Contact a support person from the dealer or asus theyre up to date on the things
